If you want to create, you have to take risks. There are different levels of risks, of course. Just putting something you’ve made, be it a painting, a poem, a story, a photograph, a song, out there for others to see is risking opinions, judgement, and failure. You are opening yourself up, being vulnerable, each time you share the art from within.
Those who succeed aren’t necessarily taking bigger risks; they’re just doing it more often. The more you create, the more often you will succeed. Failure really only occurs if you stop creating.
