November Notes, Day 17, Song Prompt: Brave Enough by Lindsey Stirling and Christina Perri
Today Are You Brave Enough?
Butterflies flew from his palm
danced with rainbows
his words stilled cacophony
his skin bled ink graffiti of
messages for romantics
hopeless or hopeful
his laughter grew gardens of hearts
but here no one liked him but her
the timid tower girl bound
by the judgements of others
Each sunrise asked her boldly:
Today are you brave enough?

Really enjoyed your take on the song!
I love reading everyone’s takes on these songs and other prompts. Each as unique as the person! 🙂
Oh yes I so agree and each one has such a unique perspective and they all work so well
Bravery is also there in the little things: getting up to face the day, putting one foot in front of the other, so yes, I think we are all brave enough 🙂
Very good points! Thanks for reading! 🙂
Love your imagery!
Thank you! 🙂 (It was fun!)
