Stacking the Shelves 10/14/2017

Thanks to Krisit at Confession of a YA Reader I’ve discovered the Stacking the Shelves meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality.ย

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This week I’ve been trying something new. Rather than remembering to go through Netgalley or Edelweiss once every blue moon for titles to review and getting far too many at one time, I’ve been going through it daily ๐Ÿ˜ณevery other day or so. That way there’s less chance of me skipping over something I know I’d like to review.

Digital ARCS

Approvals From Netgalley

Surprise Me: A Novel by [Kinsella, Sophie]

From Edelweiss

Well, that list looks pretty daunting (eye-opening, say what…am I doing?), except that it spans the next three months for publication dates. (phewย ๐Ÿ˜Œ)

And, in case you’re wondering, I still buy hard copy books although lately most of my purchases come from Better World Books as used books. I scored a few Jenny Colgan and Harriet Evans books a couple of weeks ago. If you’re not familiar with Better World Books, they donate percentages from each sale to help literacy programs. Since my home can no longer hold any more books, I tend to leave these books for other readers to enjoy.

It occurred to me if I do this every week, I might just take on fewer books…nawwwww.ย ๐Ÿค“

If you’re going to be reading/reviewing any of these books soon, let me know.

Thanks! Sascha

    1. I hear you. Last spring I did the whole kid in a candy shop routine and vowed that I wouldn’t do that again. But I also found I was missing some authors I would have loved to review.
      Thanks for dropping by!

  1. Daily ๐Ÿ˜€ hey, do you want to join our Goodreads group ARCs Anonymous? Cause it sounds like you could use it ๐Ÿ˜€ I’ve actually been successfully holding off those two cause I just can’t deal with the amounts of books I get.
Anyway, have a great week ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. lol I am on the Netgalley addicts group. I’ll check yours out. Although I’ve the first step toward ending an addiction is that you have to *want* to stop. ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks! I hope you have a great week too!
