Decisions
Imagine a door opening
a surge of bright light
blinding flight, bringing
awareness to your brain
of each moment fomenting
unease, a disease of the mind
where you see time
fading away abrading life
persuading to grab it
fully in your hands.
You can’t stand there.
You must act, a fact
you take seriously
as days shorten
autumn chills
change instills
Decisions.
