I posted a couple of days ago about returning after a short hiatus and mentioned that I had been published in Cinderella Reimagined, an anthology of Cinderella retellings. It was a classic example of the idiom: burying the lede. (What’s a lede anyway? the opening sentence or paragraph of a news article, summarizing the most important aspects of the story.)
Anna and Theresa worked so hard to make this come to fruition that I wanted to make sure they received the credit they were due as well I would like to thank them for this undertaking! Thank you, Anna and Theresa!
You can purchase Cinderella Reimagined by following the link. Thanks so much and I hope you enjoy. Woot!
Learned a new word! I had no idea that “lead” (same definition) could be spelled “lede.” I had to consult with The Grammarist on which to use when.
I think I came upon it last year or the year before and don’t remember the context (too much reading ), but did find it curious as I always thought it was “lead.”
Congrats Sascha, great work and well deserved. 🥇
Thank you, Steve. Hopefully it’s the start of something….what…heh, who knows. 🙂
🚀
Thank you so much for your awesome story, Sascha! I am still excited about our “little” project and I hope to see you over at “Midsummer” as well. 🙂
