I don’t know about you, but when I’m “under the weather” my brain becomes mush (okay, mushier than usual π ) which is why you haven’t seen any writing (of mine) here in the past few days. Hopefully soon.
However, brain downtime has meant that I was able to binge on Rita. This is a Danish show about a divorced schoolteacher, but she is in no way your everyday schoolteacher. I binged on the first few seasons in the fall/winter of 2015 and was disheartened that it seemed like there would be no continuation. There was in 2017 and it just appeared on Netflix.. A large gap, but you take what you can get. The writing, acting, and the feels are all there. If Danish isn’t your native language (you might learn it during this show π ) and you don’t mind subtitles but like shows that are fresh and intelligent, give this one a go.
While watching, I knitted. Brain might not be functioning but the fingers can. However, it had to be easy knits because, well, subtitles (and no functioning brain).

I hope to be back soon. Play nice.
We all need a bit of down time, its therapeutical.
I believe you’re right! π
Sorry to hear you’re “under the weather.” I thought for sure you’d discuss the nautical origins of this phrase given your love of the sea. Hope you feel better soon.
Ha! That’s one way to tell I’m not myself. I usually think about these phrases as I type them. Now I’ll have to look it up.
Thanks, Maggie! π
Your knitting is beautiful. Hope you get to feeling better very soon.
Thank you on both counts. These quick knits always make me happy. π
Wishing you a speedy recovery! We’ll see you soon I’m sure.
Thanks. Always appreciated.
A few days have passed, you feeling any better? Hopefully, the answer is yes, tons! hehe
Thanks, Phyllis. I am better and trying to catch up, which may soon become my middle name! π
lmao, yep I bet!
