I love covers although I’m not always a fan of the end result. In some cases, the cover sounds better than the original. In many cases, it brings a great song to a new audience, think David Bowie’s The Man Who Stole the World which was covered so well by Nirvana that people thought David Bowie was covering Nirvana when he’d sing it.
Changes is also a David Bowie song. In this cover Hozier is joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers member, Josh Klinghoffer, who displays musical versatility by playing the piano, guitar, and drums–talk about a one man band.
