It’s officially 2 for 1 Monday this lovely (okay, dreary) April 16!

Radio stations used to be more diverse here in the States, which is a thing I like about the UK where you can hear a mix of genres on the same station. I guess for a lot of folks it doesn’t matter, but when you have eclectic tastes it’s fantastic to have a radio station play eclectic music.

Anyway, I discovered folk music that way and heard Tom Rush sing Lost My Driving Wheel. This man’s voice is like how you imagine good bourbon to sound if it could sing. Because I really like the song, I found other covers. Cowboy Junkies has always been one of my favorite folkie kind of groups, although they are not a group to listen to if you are sleepy, but still need to keep going.
