It has been a tremendously long time since I’ve taken part in the FFfAW challenge. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate!

This week’s photo prompt is provided by Michelle DeAngelis.
I Do-plicity?
Do I have a sign on my head that says: world’s biggest fool?
Of course, I don’t.
So, can anyone tell me why my best man and the woman who’s about to be my bride are canoodling on the dock while I’m parasailing?
Anyone?
Destination wedding my gravlax.
Just as soon as I cancel my credit cards and financing for this fiasco, the headline will read: Disappearing groom destined for destination undetermined.
I think I hear a rum punch in Aruba calling my name.
And, maybe they’ll never realize they broke trust. And my stupid heart.

but he is now an adventure, I like the twist to the story, a happy outcome in a way
I hope so, even if it takes some time. Thanks, Gina! 🙂
A plot for a movie. Good one!
Ha! Hopefully a comedy. Thanks, Reena! 🙂
I never ceased to be amazed by how much you say in so few words. Nicely done.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It has it’s downside. You can probably guess what happens when I try to write a novel and I’m done on 500th word. lol
That’s just a micro-novel. It makes it easier when the movie comes out. You don’t have to cut out anything.
I suppose the silver lining is he found out before they were married! Off to new adventures! 🙂
Yes! Thanks so much, Iain! 🙂
At least he found out before the wedding! Aruba sounds good. Like the bird’s eye view you gave him.
Thanks, Lynn! Yes, Aruba sounds very nice right about now. 🙂
My pleasure
She has to be kept busy while you are paroling. Don’t blame your best man, thank him for entertaining your bride to be.
I guess that’s one way to look at it! 😀 Thanks for reading!
Hahahaha! I think Aruba is calling his name and broken heart! LOL! Great story!
I love the voice and personality you gave this narrator. He may have a broken heart, but he’s also got sarcasm and wit and a sense of humor! I hope he enjoys Aruba ^_^
me too!
Thanks, Jade!
Engaging story that said so much in less than 100 words. It’s good that he found out those two before the wedding. A trip to Aruba might just be the thing he needs to mend his broken heart.
Much more to life than cheating girlfriends and best friends. He’s doing the right thing. Aruba, calling!
Ah, I think the groom will recover nicely. She might be surprised when he is not at the alter. Great story.
Awesome take
Good to know before the wedding! Witty! Great story!
