You know I like to change things up every now and then. I love this song. It has festive and melancholy, a combination which cannot be overrated. And, I’m giving you my three favorite singers of this song.

First, we have the original musical Broadway production of Mame with Angela Lansbury. I found a clip from Broadway show, but the clarity wasn’t so good, so I’m giving you one she did in concert many years later.

 

And isn’t there something wonderful about Johnny Mathis and Christmas? He has this wonderful heartfelt voice and does a wonderful bit on this song. Actually, if you need tunes for your holiday gathering, fiind some Johnny Mathis, he’s so underrated.

 

Last, The New Christy Minstrels. Evidently you can see Kenny Rogers and Kim Carnes in this video. I wouldn’t recognize Kenny Rogers without his beard, but maybe you’ll be luckier.
