Today I received some sad news at the microcosm. Louie the Loaner Dog, who has visited here several times and who taught me that not all chihuahuas are yappy and snappy, passed away during the holidays. I will miss his cuddles and frenetic playing with his rat toy as well as his sweet and gentle disposition. Such a character, our little Louie.

Louie in August of 2018 with his favorite rat toy.
Louie, dear one, you were much loved and you will be missed.

So sad to hear about the death of another pet.
Rainbow Bridge awaits.
He was a wonderful little dog. I had hoped for many more opportunities to dogsit him.
bless.
Very sad news. Rest in peace Louie.
Thanks, Lisa.
Sorry to see this. RIP Louie. I will sent him a treat “for the road.”
Thanks, Anne. I might cook his favorite meal for my pups in honor.
Ohhhhh, I didn’t even really know him, but was nonetheless attached. I’m sorry for your loss. 🙁
I think dogs impact us this way, which is why I make such a bad foster. It’s hard to let them go.
I’m sorry for your loss. It’s tragic when a family pet passes away since they truly become a part of the family. I nearly lost Porsche several months back. I was truly heartbroken, but he pulled through.
So glad to hear that Porsche pulled through. When we’re given a second chance, it’s makes the relationship even more bittersweet.
It does!
