Love is not fragile like rose petals caught by a gust.

Love is not superficial or unkind or selfish.

Love takes you by surprise,

grasps you in an embrace

of fierce loyalty.

Love weathers storms

through patience, understanding,

kindness, thoughtfulness .

When nurtured, love always thrives.
