Oh, yeah! I thought the Theme Reveal was TOMORROW! I was just going to write up my post and get it scheduled for TOMORROW. I’m a mess. Hopefully a good mess. But a mess, nevertheless.
In April, I will be writing flash fiction stories based on songs. The chosen songs will start with the letters A to Z. The stories will all be under 1000 words and probably under 500.
If I continue to be a mess, I may even ask for audience participation in choosing the songs. And, even if I stop being a mess, I may ask…if anyone’s interested in playing along, that is.
If you’ve been hesitating about doing the challenge in April, you have until April 6 to join up for the challenge–but don’t wait until then because you will be BEHIND! If you want to do the theme reveal, you have until March 28 to sign up for that. (I checked the dates this time. 😉 )
Woohoo! A to Z Challenge!

I really want to try this but I don’t know if I can blog every day!
You can always write ahead. Lots of bloggers seem to.
If you are still in a mess I suppose we’ll see your ‘A’ post on April 2nd! Have fun
Keith’s A-Z Ramblings!
And miss April Fool’s? Naw. 🙂
I messed up so much I had to delete my earlier post and begin again. Anyway, woohoo, that sounds awesome! I’m doing reviews of romance novels and romcoms. 😀💖
Oh, I am going to look forward to reading your posts! Yay!
Good luck, Sascha. I liked your last year’s theme of stories based in different places. Will keep an eye out for your posts.
Thank you, Varad! At this rate, I may need any luck I can get! 🙂
Oooh, cool idea! 🙂
The Multicolored Diary
Thank you! 🙂
Hey good luck, I’m joining in this year, also writing, not organised enough to have my theme reveal up yet 🙂
I always have the best of intentions to be more organized. (Maybe this is just my life lol). Thank you. 🙂
I love flash fiction (though I haven’t been writing much of it lately), so I’ll definitely be coming back – especially with your unique song prompt/inspiration. Looking forward to it!
Thank you so much. Hopefully I’ll be more prepared by April 1! 🙂
I’m hoping for the same, but as the time shrinks… 😉 *not in the panic mode yet*
I’m just now in a better place than I was last year at this time (didn’t know what I was going to do each day until that day…oops) so now it’s the que sera phase. Good luck! 🙂
Nice. I have done something similar in the past, but only one or two. I am looking forward to a month of song narrative.
Thanks. I hope I can provide something entertaining! 🙂
I’m sure you will
I will be more than happy to ‘song suggest’ as long as I don’t have to sing for you lol believe me you’ll be glad if I don’t haha welcome to the craziness of the A to Z🤓
That could add a whole new layer: people sending youtube videos of them singing the songs. What fun! 🙂
Does everybody pick their own theme?
Yes. Or if you have someone you trust you can have them pick it for you. hahaha. 😉
I found the rules. I thought it was a much more strict thing. I thought there as a universal topic. I can do this.
ooops. I kind of thought you might be joking….and I was being a smartass.
That’s all right. I always prefer smartasses to dumbasses.
😀 Sometimes I can be the latter but I try not to be.
Yep. I hate that feeling.
This sounds like an intriguing theme. Glad you’re taking part this year. Songs make great story prompts.
Our theme is the writing journey. If you have a moment, we’d love a vote on our image choices. 🙂
Sounds super creative. I look forward to reading your posts.
Thank you, Karina! 🙂
I like the twist to your theme where you’ll use songs as a springboard. Looking forward to how your posts turn out. Good luck this April!
Thank you so much. I may actually need a lot of luck! 🙂
