WWW Wednesday 4/10/2019

I am considering doing away with the monthly wrap-up since it seems that much of the material from WWW Wednesday is regurgitated in the wrap-up. Maybe I’ll just do a monthly wrap-up regarding my writing. The jury is out. If you have an opinion, let me know. Thanks! 🙂

Thanks to Samantha Elizabeth at Taking on a World of Words for hosting WWW Wednesdays!

Current Reads

The Promise of Us (Sanctuary Sound Book 2) by [Beck, Jamie]

The Promise of Us by Jamie Beck.

After a couple of dismal reads, I was happy to start this story about Claire who is trying to trust again and Logan, her once-crush and a playboy.

Under the Table by [Evanovich, Stephanie]

Under the Table by Stephanie Evanovich.

The author has an unusual style and I’m trying to adapt. I was a little startled that the main character could just sell herself as a chef without any culinary experience. Is that for real?

Finished Reads

America's Geekheart (Bro Code Book 2)

America’s Geekheart by Pippa Grant.

One of the best, funniest reads of the year! Read my review here.

The Ash Family by Molly Dekter.

I called it a quandary of a novel in my review. An unreliable narrator and the distinct feeling of watching a train as it impacts. I gave it 4 butterflies.

One Summer in Paris by Sarah Morgan.

Wonderful story of two women offering each other support in the wilds of Paris. 😉 A 4 butterfly review.

In the Neighborhood of True by [Carlton, Susan Kaplan]

In the Neighborhood of True by Susan Kaplan Carlton.

A coming-of-age novel set in 1958 Atlanta that shows how little we’ve change. A 4 butterfly review and a Q&A with the author.
