Up to 1 Million Species Are at Risk of Extinction, and It’s All Our Fault

I realize that posting stories like this is the cliched “preaching to the choir” because the ones who will read it are already aware and the ones who won’t, simply don’t care. My impression is that some people want to have everything right now and disregard the cost farther down the road with their primary thought being: it won’t ever affect me so why should I care.

Hopefully enough of us do care to make a difference for those who don’t.

  1. About the time I think I’m alone in caring, I find another like-minded individual. I think there are people who care, but we must make our governments care as well. And we can only do that by voting. I cannot imagine a world without animals and nature. Thanks for highlighting this important issue.
