Another week gone! I feel like I can breathe a bit easier now that the A to Z Challenge is done and I can get back to routines.

Current Reads
I just started Hurricane Season by Nicole Melleby, meaning that I’m at chapter three in a book with very short chapters. So far it strikes me as a strange little novel geared toward middle grades. The story is about 6th grader Fig, short for Finola, and her father, a once famous composer who seems to have had a nervous breakdown. Or at least that’s my take so far.
I’ve also picked back up Dean Koontz’ The Whispering Room after taking a hiatus because I just couldn’t get into it or maybe didn’t want to get into it because I’ve been tearing through the pages since I started reading it again. This is the second book in the Jane Hawk series. I have two more to read and then I have the ARC of the latest which will be released on May 14. I am going to have to do some quick reading to get all of them done. 😀
