  1. Sadly, a lot of the convenience foods are cheaper than fresh foods. I’ve seen mac&cheese for $1 a box. And dead animals are often cheaper than vegetables. If you’re trying to feed a family on a budget will you buy 2 pounds of green beans for $2.99/pound or 2 pounds of ground cow for $.89/pound? We don’t make it easy to eat healthy.
