(and if you’re in the southern hemisphere, just consider it: Dreaming of Summertime Reads)

In the past couple of months I’ve read more than a few books that have made me happy, given me a lot of satisfaction, or have been pure escapist fare–and sometimes all of the above. These are the kinds of books that you want to take on vacation because, let’s face it, no matter how much you think you should read Moby Dick or War and Peace, vacation is just not the time for it unless you need to do penance for something. Vacation is for lighter, feel good books.
I will be adding to the list that follows as the days go on, so check back if you are looking for some fun reads. If you have books you’ve read that you think would make great beach reads, please make suggestions in the comments so that we all can have a great summertime (dreaming of summertime) of reading.
Happy Reading!
