As I mentioned in a recent post, I am exploring opportunities to publish my flash fiction pieces. Since many of you write poetry and flash fiction, I’m going to share the markets that I find here. I’ve created a new category simply called “markets” so if you miss a post you can always come back and check the list.
This is the first one. Our inaugural market.
If you don’t regularly submit your work, the best advice I can offer to you regarding markets is visit the journal. Read as much of the work from that journal as you can and see if it’s a good fit for your own writing. You can avoid a lot of disappointment if you don’t try to submit your work everywhere.

The Fairy Tale Review is open for submissions for their “Coral Issue” from March 27, 2019 to July 31, 2019. So the deadline is coming up very soon!
About the “Coral Issue” from Fairy Tale Review
Fairy Tale Review will be accepting submissions for our sixteenth print issue, The Coral Issue, from March 27, 2019 to July 31, 2019. The Coral Issue will not be themed. However, we invite with special interest environmental fiction, poetry, and essays. Flora and fauna, weather and aura, and so forth.
They accept both long prose up to 8,000 words or 3 flash fiction pieces each under 1,000 words. Poets can submit 5 poems totaling 10 pages.
