is 95°F at 8:30 pm. For some reason this strikes me and the cicadas, who are humming away, as hot. (I also hear a cardinal, but I hear cardinals at this time in the winter so I’m not altogether sure he’s commenting on the temperatures.) But then today in the stark afternoon…it was hot. I am fortunate to have trees and AC.
Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
We are still sitting around 90 here as well. The short burst I had to got outside this afternoon to water some plants had me melting. I don’t want to say I’m looking forward to cooler temps because that means no more pool time, but… I’d be fine dropping a degree or 10 by this time of night.
I completely understand! 😀
116 in Phoenix. Had to go “down the hill” for a doc appointment. Glad I don’t live there.
Ha! I looked at the weather map. Las Vegas had the highest temp, followed by Phoenix, and then there was Washington DC, no doubt because of all of the hot air. But, hey man, you’ve got dry heat. hahaha.
103 degrees here in Southwest Oklahoma. Have to go out later but only for a short time. Will be getting a break next week with temps in the low 90’s and high 80’s. LOL
It’s crazy, isn’t it? It’s all relative. I’ve drawn the blinds in the afternoon so the AC doesn’t keep running and the dogs are panting. Let’s get those 80’s! 🙂
lol Crazy weather, isn’t it?
