About Christmas In Evergreen: Letters to Santa:

Return to Evergreen,

the town where Christmas wishes come true…

But only if you know what your heart really wants.

When Lisa takes a last-minute Christmas trip to her hometown of Evergreen, she finds that the historic general store has closed. The place was a beloved local tradition, and she decides to use her skills as a professional retail designer to bring it back to its former glory. She charms a local contractor, Kevin, into working with her, and the pair find themselves facing one surprise after another.

One of the biggest surprises of all is finding the mysterious 25-year-old letter to Santa that never made it to the North Pole. Who really wrote it, and will its request come true at last? And will Lisa and Kevin figure out what they’re truly wishing for?

This sweet small-town romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Incredible Apple Dumplings.

SASCHA-DARLINGTONS-REVIEW

I had the strongest sense of déjà vu when I began reading Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa by Nancy Naigle. The sense was so strong that I could even picture it in my mind. I knew this wasn’t possible because this was an ARC (advanced reader copy), which meant there wasn’t any way I’d read it before. And, that’s pretty much when I decided to look deeper into the situation.

My copy didn’t have the cover you see above. It wasn’t until I went to the blurb on Goodreads that I discovered that this book had been based on a movie that I had seen the previous Christmas. Ta da! Not déjà vu, but ditz-a-roo (yes, I made up that word).

If you haven’t seen the Hallmark movie, I suggest you read the book first.

Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa is the story of Lisa and Kevin, who fate continues to bring together and connect from their first meet-cute when he’s stranded by the side of the road to them working together to bring life back to the old country store. It’s festive and feel-good.

A sweet and heart-warming romance, Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa is well-written so even if you haven’t or don’t plan on seeing the movie, the book provides so much detail and emotions that you’ll feel as if you did. However, you might want to get your copy now and read it a little closer to the actual holiday since all the hot chocolate drinking almost made me sweat. 😉

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
