Recently on vacation, I had to switch radio stations. Usually I stream Beach 104, which is OBX’s radio station, but after days of listening to Panic! At the Disco’s “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” until my ears bled (an exaggeration 😉 ), I knew I couldn’t handle it anymore. That’s when I found 93.7 Bob FM out of Chesapeake, VA. What’s great about this station is that they play everything (and thankfully no “Hey Look Ma” yet). When I say everything, we are talking Metallica, Jimmy Buffet, Bread, Pearl Jam, The Lumineers, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks. This station is perfect for someone like me who loves to hear everything.
Another great thing about it is that I’ve heard songs I haven’t heard in a long time. Case in point is “1979” by The Smashing Pumpkins. The song is nostalgic and it even sounds nostalgic in the way the music is played and sung. Love it!
