“Snicker” was written for dVerse where De Jackson asked us to write a quadrille using the word “nick.” Of course, I went overboard and nicked as many nicks as I could. π

Snicker
In the nick of time
Nickβs wife snatched him
from being nicked
by me? Nickering Nelly,
I protested, yearning only
to remain Nick-less.
I treasure talking, philosophizing.
If I had a nickel
For every misconception,
βsnickerβ
and twisted (k)nickers
a wealthy woman Iβd be.
end
Sascha Darlington
A fun write. Lol on the twisted knickers π

Hi erbiage. Wonderful way you wove the word nick through your quadrille.
Sorry Sascha I called you erbiage by mistake.
π Not a problem! (I’ve been called worse. π )
Excuse me Sascha for using the wrong name. I had lost my ficus scrolling down reading your piece..
