Well, this is literally getting it in right under the wire…well…with a couple of hours to spare!

Disappointment (94 words)
Abby’s father rested his glasses on his open book. “I am so disappointed in you.”
Shame mixed with teenage surliness responded. “I don’t care what you think.”
But she cared. Even as she slammed her bedroom door, rattling pictures, she cared because she’d done something she could never take back.
Headphones on, she’d buried herself in angsty-alt music until her mother shook her arm, tears streaming down her face. Her mother was always crying. She rolled her eyes then flinched as her mother ripped the headphones away.
“Dad”…”coronary” were the only words she heard.

Sascha Darlington
Dear Sascha,
Oh my! I wonder what she did that caused her father’s coronary. Or did she cause it? Lots of questions. A very good story, though. Glad you made it. 😉
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thank you, Rochelle. My thought is that she didn’t cause it, but she will think she did.
Completely open ended with so many questions. What a fabulous story, left us wanting more – answers and so many questions. So well done, Sascha!
Thank you so much, Phyllis! 🙂
I gotta tell it like it is! That’s a given good or bad! lol

That’s a recipe for therapy! Very good.
Thanks, Maggie! 🙂
