Music Monday is a meme started by Drew @ The Tattooed Book Geek. Pick a song you really like and share it.
Don’t you love music? It can do so many things. Elevate you to another place and time. Remind you of a first love. Transport you to years ago. Keep you here in the present.
So, apt for autumn, I’ve chosen Harvest Moon by Neil Young. This is a love song that Neil Young wrote for his wife Pegi Young. The background vocals are by Linda Ronstadt, who I must do a Music Monday for very soon. (What song would I choose for that?! Any suggestions?)
This is a simple, sweet song, almost nostalgic. It’s definitely a song to dance with someone you like or, hey, even love.
But there’s a full moon risin’
Let’s go dancing in the light
We know where the music’s playin’
Let’s go out and feel the night
Because I’m still in love with you
I want to see you dance again
There are lots of covers. Here’s the original:

Absolutely love! Neil young is a favorite. I’ve only shared “Down By The River” so far. This one is incredible. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Love this song and this rendition of it.
