The Microcosm is expanding!

I want you all to welcome a new book reviewer to the Microcosm: Betanda Shanam from England. I’ve known Betanda for many years. We met when we were both young and silly, now we’re just older and silly (and, yes, I’m speaking for myself).

We are so excited that she wanted to join us. Welcome, Betanda!

Betanda

Hello I am Betanda Shanam.  I live in a little village in the middle of England, along with my husband, children, our guinea pig and two dogs. Yes, I am an animal lover!  I enjoy travelling around Europe in our little motorhome. I find travel, along with books, helps to extend my understanding of the world I live in, which has to be a good thing!

I am very fortunate to have a great relationship with books; they have been a big part of my life. Each time I finish a book I feel a small victory. I find the best kind of books are the ones you carry around with you in your head and think about the characters and what they are doing when you are not reading about them.  I don’t have a favourite genre; I choose books to reflect my mood or taste at the time.The reviews I post are my thoughts and opinions of the books I’ve read; please feel free to comment.
