56 minutes left in 2019.
I’ve had a wonderful meal at Aqua restaurant in Duck where our waitress was the same from our visit in the August, and she actually remembered us. She’s a pretty blonde lady who reminds me of a combo of Carmen Diaz and my SIL Karen. How special is that when she must have served hundreds of people? (I don’t remember dancing on the table…coulda happened…I just don’t remember. ๐ )
Obligatory weather update: We’ve had a couple of warm days, 50’s and 60’s and tomorrow will be in the 50’s. It’s been beautiful and so appropriate for the upcoming New Years making you believe that new and beautiful things are possible for 2020.
(I also have a wonderful photo of Sophie and Scout sleeping on the same bed that’s heart warming and which I’ll post soon.)
I’ve felt good, better. Happy. Optimistic. Almost back to my old self.
I have plans for the New Year. I started Tai Chi today and plan to be healthier. I also plan to write everyday and try to make my world a happier place–the parts that I can. Kindness is my goal. And, remembering that other people may be going through rough times when they behave badly.
And for you, I wish the best.
I hope that we can find peace within ourselves. Turn around this devastating climate change. And for those of you who don’t believe it exists, I hope that you will allow your eyes to open to what is going on around you.
I wish you all health and happiness and a blessed New Year.
Because I haven’t found anything that matches the song I posted 2 years ago, I’m reposting it. Happy New Years, my friend. All the best.
