Music Monday is a meme started by Drew @ The Tattooed Book Geek. Pick a song you really like and share it.

Years ago I was reading an interview with Adele in which she said she went through a break-up and the Mumford and Sons album helped her through it; the songs spoke to her (or something like that.) I had never heard of them at the time so Googled and promptly became obsessed with their album, Sigh No More. (Was this really around 10 years ago?!)
They were like nothing I was hearing on the radio. Even now, I can probably sing every single song on the Sigh No More album. I think they paved the way for a more folkie sound to become acceptable in indie rock.
As a side note, I discovered that if I said their name really quickly they became Mumford and Mums, which brings a whole new take to their sound.
Little Lion Man is fierce and introspective and one of the first songs I loved from this album. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to share one of their songs. I hope you enjoy!
Weep for yourself, my man,
You’ll never be what is in your heart
Weep little lion man,
You’re not as brave as you were at the start
Songwriters: Benjamin Walter David Lovett / Edward James Milton Dwane / Marcus Oliver Johnstone Mumford / Winston Aubrey Aladar Marshall
Great song!!
