“Because no new husband cares if his wife has panties. I can promise you that. It’s just one less thing in the way of the main prize.”
Oh, dear God. Her nipples tingled. She pressed a free hand to her chest, hoping her cold hand would cool her thoughts. Her fever. “Real husbands.”
Justin moved his head from left to right in an agonizingly slow gesture. He got that look about him once again. “Real or fake. Don’t care.”
“Well… a fake husband probably isn’t going to know if his fake wife is even wearing panties. You know, probably wouldn’t even be down in that area.”
Justin’s eyes went from bright blue to royal blue. The tension in the room thickened with every breath she took. She willed her body to stay still and not squirm under his hot gaze.
Justin leaned forward. Their noses were inches away from each other. “Say the word, and he could be.”
The idea of Justin touching her panties or going anywhere near that area of hers was… alluring. Pleasing. Tempting. Almost too much to think about.
“Chicken,” he growled.
“I’m no chicken.”
“Guess we’ll find out in a week, won’t we?”
“You bet we will.”
Justin’s mouth turned up into a cocky grin. “Cheers.” He lifted his flute to hers.
“To remembering panties.” She raised her glass.
“To taking off panties.”
The clink of their flutes sent shivers down her spine.

Ashley Bostock was born and raised in Colorado where she currently resides with her husband, two children and her animals. She loves reading, writing, and music and is always trying to find more time in the day to incorporate all three.
Seeking an outlet and pursuing her life-long passion for writing, she began composing her first novel in 2013. She has traveled all over the world, but still has an extensive list of places she would love to visit. Anywhere near a sky-blue ocean will always be at the top of that list.
