I used “Angel from Montgomery” sung by Bonnie Raitt and written by John Prine in an earlier Music Monday. The song was a recording of the very young Bonnie from the 1970s. This one is of a wiser Bonnie and John Prine from last year.

I’ve had my head in the sand for the past 17 hours or so and only became aware that John Prine is in critical condition with covid-19. I’m a writer at a loss for words. Let the music speak for itself.
