Siren’s Song
In the rush of ocean to shore faint murmurings, an ancient song dancing at dusk, silver-finned waves memories transcending time. I expect logic, a story-- receive an elegy to simpler days when we controlled less lived well, loved purer. Who sings this failed song? Pastoral rhapsody, sea siren promising eternity wrapped in heaven paper to lure, a baited trap.

Is that the siren’s song, then? The promise of a better time, maybe a time that never really was? Lovely.
