Joy, a Quadrille

“Joy” was written for dVerse where the hope and writing of possibilities have indeed filled me with thankfulness and joy. Thank you to our wonderful host, De Jackson (aka WhimsyGizmo)

Joy

 I swirl as yellow willow,
 red maple leaves twirl
 seize the wind
 the sun sets them glowing
 flowing with possibilities
 as I feel, too, bright
 with potential.

 Peace thrives in this joy
 even as gusts grow fierce
 rebirth rises in November

 gift of thanks.

  1. How refreshing to read a joyful November poem when most are depicting it as dark and gloomy, harbinger of cold and discomfort.

  2. Sascha, I simply love this. There is so much hope and beauty in nature. So much to be thankful for. Thank you.
