Many of us dog lovers were sending out good thoughts for Delta, the goldendoodle, who had bolted from her family’s car in a parking lot in Yellowstone on June 22. For those of you who have been to Yellowstone, you know that it is not the place you want to lose a dog. Not only do you have geothermal pools and geysers, but you have the wildlife (some people do seem to forget that Yellowstone is not a petting zoo, but that’s another story) including black bears, grizzly bears, wolves, coyotes and herds of 3500-pound bison.
This past mid-week a headline appeared that hope was running out for Delta after she hadn’t been seen for three days. That was when I stopped looking for articles for obvious reasons. Then yesterday this popped up: Goldendoodle loose for 16 days in Yellowstone found safe!
I am so glad to read a story with a happy ending!

Obviously Delta still has something left to do in this life. Nice to have a happy ending. Thank YOU for bringing it to us.
