In tribute to Charlie Watts, The Rolling Drummer, who died yesterday at age 80, I give you one of my top 5 favorite Stones songs, “Gimme Shelter.”

“Gimme Shelter” is one of those songs in which a lot of female singers have done duets with Mick Jagger and if you have time, it’s fun to actually listen to them. After watching a few, I realized that I preferred Fergie’s version to Lady Gaga–who would have thunk it?
