I have a story coming out on October 12, 2021 in the anthology, Unfortunate Fables: Stories of Tormented Adventure. All of the stories in the anthology are based on fairy tales.
I’m very excited about my story, “House of Candy.” Can you guess which fairy tale it might be based on? Yes! if you said Hansel and Gretel. But what if Hansel and Gretel didn’t come from the nicest family? What if the family of witches were innocent? What if “House of Candy” is a story told entirely through one of my favorite methods: flash fiction? Yes! I wrote it all in flash fiction and I am so happy with the results.
