Music Monday: If I Go, I’m Goin by Gregory Alan Isakov with Aoife O’Donovan & Chris Thile

Updated: I just noticed the typo in the lyric quote, which I presume was from the person who transcribed it to LyricFind. I’ve changed “creeks” to “creaks” because I did find another correct version. Can’t have these typos on a writer’s blog! 😜

For the past couple of days, I’ve felt in the mood for some mellow, folkie kind of music, which is why you’re getting a little taste of Gregory Alan Isakov today. I’ve only ever heard his music through streaming services but wish I’d heard of him earlier. But, like they say, better late than never.

Enjoy! 🎧🎸🎶

This house
She’s quite the talker
She creaks and moans
She keeps me up

And the photographs
Know I’m a liar
They just laugh as I burn her down

Songwriters: John Elliott / Gregory Alan Isakov / J Wagner / Ron Scott
