You know, when I first started this blog, I was on top of everything: Postings, comments, reciprocated reading. I wrote new stories for WP’s daily word prompt. Now, I’m lucky to do one of those things. I’ll blame it on being six years older. Does that work? π Anyway, you must be wondering what this has to do with the AtoZ Challenge Theme Reveal. Well, despite all of my best intentions, I forgot π€¦. After a promising start of asking you all to help me choose a theme, time slipped through my fingers, and here I am at the computer:
(You all didn’t know about my ears, did you? π )
While I appreciate all of you who recommended via comments or messaging (thank you so much! π), I’ve taken a good look at my own capabilities right now and decided to do something completely different.
Each day of the challenge, I am going to open up my dictionary (why, yes, I do have one still; it’s dusty but it works) to the day’s letter, close my eyes and let my finger do the talking. From there, I will either write a flash fiction or a poem inspired by the word.
To all of your who are participating in the Challenge: Good luck! To those of you who know nothing about it. There’s still time to select a theme and prepare. You can find more info here: AtoZ Challenge.
Now, where did I put that list of the next thing I’m supposed to do today?
Sounds like a plan! Good luck.
Thank you. I will probably need that luck. π
