So I decided to make a last minute #0 Birthday trip to Sandbridge Beach because turning #0 is monumental enough, I think. Anything with a 0 is. Except for 20 because we’ve made 21 THE number. And, what was that about anyway? Why make 21 so important and not 20? What does that one year signify? 18 and 21 seem like such arbitrary numbers for huge occurrences. Were these ages based on anything or pulled out of a hat? We all know that not all 18 or 21 year olds reach the same emotional maturity.
Ah, was this a tangent? Of course! π€·π»ββοΈ

I walked on the beach every day. There was hardly anyone about, which is always pleasant. That also meant that Sophie could chase her ball without bothering anyone. Not that she would bother anyone because Sophie only cares about her ball!

I know many would not have found the weather at the beach optimal, but I adhere to the principle that even a bad day at the beach is a good day. (Unless it’s during a powerful hurricane . . . .)
And, that’s where I’ve been.
This is how we like the beach then we can let Maya off. How’s Hank?
Yes. It looks totally different in the warmer months! He is doing very well. Slowly learning to be a little less stubborn! haha
Bless!
How is your pup doing, Di?
She’s 16 months old now and weighs in at 34.3 kgs. She’s learning all the time and we’re having a lot more good days than bad, so we let her off when she slips a bit. Her temperament is wonderful and she is so good with people, especially any with a disability, she just seems to sense it. Have been posting our progress, the last being ‘Still Training’. She is a beautiful dog and everyone seems to love her.
She sounds lovely!
She’s a beauty Sascha. Hope you have some spare time to check out a few of my posts on her.
Belated Happy Birthday and glad you enjoyed the beach!
Gwen.
Thank you so much, Gwen. I feel very fortunate that I was able to go away. π
