Come Winter
In winter when bare branches shiver in a frigid wind I’ll remember basking in sunshine as you zoomed from petunia to lantana zipped into willow fronds matching your emerald feathers; those memories will warm me, wrap me in hope, longing for sultry July days and your return.

Delightful poem!
Thank you so much, Anne! 🙂

Aren’t they? They make me happy. Many thanks, VJ! 🙂
